class task#7
question: when i painted part of the layer mask black, it showed the girl only. When i painted it white, it showed the frame picture underneath only. When you paint the layer mask grey, it shows both frame picture and girl.
born into brothels task #5
1) i enjoyed the film very well. what especially stood out for me is how harsh a reality these kids live everyday. 2) i did learn something new about people watching this movie. I learned that if you have someone who believes in you, then you believe in yourself. For example, “zana auntie” is the one who believes in the kids. 3) i think the world needs to put the needs of our people in first, especially our children, because they are our future and if we dont help them now thenhow are we supposed to help ourselves. 4) well something that i do to help is regularly donate clothes to those who need it more than me. 5) i think the song Every ghetto by Naz is a good song about the world it tells us about the harsh stuggles lived everyday by men,women and children. i shall now show you the chorus….(its got some swearing, so i bleeped then out

6) a non-profit organization that is important to me would be; the cash for cancer lottery, because all the money they get from people who buy tickets goes to further cancer reasearch. 7) some ideas that i have are; making a gallery of all the media arts class’s work and have a showing to the school. we could charge a fee to enter, and have prizes. the money collected that night could go to an organization that we have all agreed on.

understanding resolution class task 4
1) the 300 dpi will be clearer than the 72 dpi, because even though they are printed out at the same size, the 300 dpi has more drops per inch and will come out clearer and more precise, than the 72, which will most likely be blurred.
2) i think that a picture created with only one dpi will just be a dot. it cant be anything else because there’s only one, there’s nothing else for it to create a picture with.
